LemoTV VLC IPTV setup
This guide is part of the LemoTV IPTV setup collection. It walks through configuring VLC media player with your LemoTV subscription. For common account and playback questions, check LemoTV IPTV FAQs.
VLC is a free cross-platform media player that can open LemoTV M3U playlists on Windows, macOS, and Linux. This LemoTV VLC IPTV setup guide is ideal when you want live TV on a laptop or desktop without installing a dedicated IPTV app.
Install VLC
Download VLC from the official VideoLAN website and install it using the default options for your operating system.
Open your LemoTV M3U playlist
Step 1 — Network stream
In VLC, go to Media → Open Network Stream (or press Ctrl+N on Windows).
Step 2 — Paste M3U URL
Paste the full M3U URL from your LemoTV welcome message into the network URL field and click Play.
Step 3 — Browse channels
Open the playlist sidebar (View → Playlist) to see LemoTV channel entries. Double-click a channel to start playback.
Open a saved M3U file
If you downloaded the playlist as a file, use Media → Open File and select the .m3u file from your LemoTV account export.
Limitations
VLC does not provide a full TV-guide experience or Xtream Codes login on all builds. For EPG and catch-up, consider myIPTV Player on Windows or TiviMate on Android TV.
After you subscribe to LemoTV IPTV, you receive connection details in your welcome message—typically an Xtream Codes server URL, username, and password, or an M3U playlist link. Use only the credentials supplied with your account. Need a plan first? See LemoTV IPTV pricing.
Quick troubleshooting
- Confirm your LemoTV subscription is active and you entered login details exactly as provided.
- Restart the app and your device after adding the playlist.
- Test on a stable Wi‑Fi connection; Ethernet is preferred on TV boxes.
- If channels fail to load, try the alternate login method (Xtream Codes vs M3U) when your app supports both.
